The PGT Access PRO verifies the functionality of an operator's wrist strap and footwear, logs the test results, and controls access to an ESD protected area.

  • ESD Testing: The PGT120 tests the operators path-to-ground and indicates that the wrist strap and footwear are functioning properly.
  • Data Logging: All operator test activity is logged into a database to meet the ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirement.
  • Important Information: Each log entry includes operator identification, test results, resistance measurements, time, temperature and humidity.
  • Employee Identification: Operator identification can be performed by RFID, barcode or keypad. The system supports USB equipment so current ID systems may be used.
  • High-Quality Turnstile: The FastPass Turnstile controls access to the ESD protected area. The USA made turnstile is designed for high traffic/volume applications.

The PGT120 personnel grounding tester turnstile verifies the functionality of an operator's wrist strap, ESD footwear or ESD jacket and only allows access through the turnstile.

ESD Product Testing

The PGT120 tests the operators path-to-ground and indicates that the wrist strap and footwear are functioning properly with green lights and the turnstile allows passage through. Red lights, an audible alarm indicate that the grounding products are failing and should be replaced. A failed test denies access to the ESD protected area.

The measuring voltage is preset to 100V for superior accuracy but can be adjusted to either 30V or 50V. The testing unit operates with 3 independent measuring circuits so the wrist strap, left foot and right foot can be tested at the same time or turned off completely. The footwear upper limit can be adjusted to 20M, 35M, 70M or 100M. The shoes can even be measured in a hands-free mode which means that the staff members are tested automatically when standing on the plate.

Electronics Data Acquisition

All operator test activity is logged into a database to meet the ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements for on-going quality control purposes. The database consists of operator identification, test results, resistance measurements, time, temperature and humidity. Internal memory can hold up to a months worth of test data in case a network failure were to occur. The operator identification and access control is initiated with a RFID card, barcode scanner or keypad.

User Identification

The Access PRO 100 offers three operator identification methods: RFID reader, barcode scanner or keypad. The system can work with most USB connected HID components so existing company systems may be used with the tester.

Reporting and Software

All testing data can be accessed via a web interface from any computer on the same network. The DataTERM software allows for central data maintenance of up to 32 testing stations in an SQLite database.

FastPass Turnstile

The USA made FastPass turnstiles are designed for years of reliable service in high traffic/volume applications. Thousands are currently in use in factories, pro-sports venues, amusement parks and high-profile attractions worldwide. The cabinets are constructed of heavy 14-Guage, 300 series satin stainless steel with minimal exposed hardware.

6500 Series Control Head

The turnstile features the 6500 Series Control Head that is auto-indexing (self-centering), with adjustable hydraulic shock suppression, permanently lubricated bearing and nearly universal integration to any number of access control systems.
