The Metcal MX-5270 ESD-safe digital solder wire feeder system adds control and convenience which increases soldering process speeds as well as line efficiency. Its digital controls and high performance ability allow this system to manage multiple solder wire diameters, providing repeatability and functionality to your soldering process. The MX-5270 pairs with Metcal's MX-5200 series or MX-500 series soldering and rework systems.
With its digital controls, forward feed, retraction, delay, and speed are parameters that can be programmed in either automatic, forward, or backward operation modes. These parameters are displayed on a large LCD screen along with a cycle counter with millimeter or inch measurement units. Its internal program storage holds 30 programs that allow you to select specific programs for various applications.
