The Hakko 999-137 Combo/HEPA Filter has been discontinued and is replaced by the Hakko A1586 Main Filter. Using the new main filter in your Hakko HJ3100 maintains filtering efficiency levels and increases airflow performance. The construction of the A1586 main filter is similar to that of the 999-137 main filter. Both filters use a pleated media in combination with an activated carbon section. Together, the filter removes at least 98% of particulate as small as 0.3 micron as well as helps remove odors and other chemical byproducts from soldering operations. For optimal performance, it is recommended that you use the matched pre-filter (PN: A1585) in conjunction with this filter.
IMPORTANT: To use the A1586 Main Filter in your Hakko HJ3100, you will need to use a Filter Adapter Frame (PN: 999-241) which is available for FREE from American Hakko.
